Eric Nantet – French Representative & Partner
Eric Nantet is a dedicated representative of Himalayan Magic Treks from France, with a long-standing passion for Nepal’s mountains and culture. Eric first arrived in Nepal in 2010 and has since completed numerous challenging treks, including Naya Khanga, Rolwaling via Tashi Laptsa Col, Mera Peak, Makalu Arun Valley, Chulu West, and Basa Village Tours.
Energetic and experienced, Eric is an avid mountain trekker who deeply appreciates Nepal’s natural beauty and warm hospitality. After his memorable trek to Rolwaling—organized by our founder Nabin Karki—Eric became closely involved with Himalayan Magic Treks. Since then, he has supported our company by recommending many French-speaking clients and actively participating in our community initiatives.
Eric’s personal connection to Nepal grew stronger when he married a Nepali woman and now visits annually to spend time with his family in Basa Village. Together, we support local education through the Les Amies du Nepal Khastap initiative, helping provide schooling and resources for underprivileged children.
As a committed partner, Eric works alongside Nabin to develop sustainable tourism practices rooted in professionalism and respect for the environment and local communities. We take pride in our knowledgeable, genuine team of guides and staff, ensuring all guides receive proper training in mountain safety and emergency protocols.
For French-speaking travelers, Eric helps coordinate expert French-speaking guides to enhance your experience. He hails from Saint Gervais, near Mont Blanc, France, and is always available to assist clients planning trips to Nepal.
