Our AAMA initiative, named after the Nepali word for "mother," symbolizes care, hope, and nurturing. The Birth of AAMA
The idea of AAMA was inspired by a life-changing journey in Nepal in 2016. While trekking through the Mustang region, a conversation with our Director, Nabin Karki, turned into a heartfelt exploration of the challenges faced by his home village, Basa. This led to a visit to the village and an encounter with a widowed mother struggling to provide for her children.
The profound impact of this experience highlighted the universal need for better education, healthcare, and opportunities, not just in Basa but in underprivileged communities worldwide. AAMA was born from this realization, with the mission of addressing critical issues and creating lasting change wherever it is needed.
Our Mission
